Still in the same article, Victoria Hagan, a well-known New York-based interior designer catered to the extensive facelift of the said facility and transformed it into a biologically sustainable ecosystem giving a whole new meaning to the farm produce-to-table trend.

The Golden Door actually dates back to 1958; and was started by the Szekelys as a health farm for starlets who needed to get 'screen ready' being sent by Hollywood moguls that time. Over time, the health resort lost its glam and after it was acquired by the Conways, it has regained its newly found confidence to catering to the stressed out working elite.
