The Golden Door actually dates back to 1958; and was started by the Szekelys as a health farm for starlets who needed to get 'screen ready' being sent by Hollywood moguls that time. Over time, the health resort lost its glam and after it was acquired by the Conways, it has regained its newly found confidence to catering to the stressed out working elite.
