Here's Why "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" Stands Out

Ant-Man has a new contender for the top box office seat this week and that's Tom Cruise's new action flick "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation". This is the actor's 5th installment of the action movie franchise.

Critics have provided a very positive response to the movie, with a 91% rating for Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic with 77%, based on a report by thewrap.com. Tom Cruise's $150 million worth movie might be looking at a week-long earning of about $40 million. The article further mentioned that it still lies with what moviegoers and fans of the franchise think of the stunt-filled flick.

Another post about the new MI movie was mentioned in theconcourse.deadspin.com, which described the film's close match-up with "Mad Max: Fury Road". Remember Charlize Theron's unforgettable femme fatale character? Yes, pretty sure Tom Cruise couldn't be more proud for his fellow actor. "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" demonstrated major differences compared to the new Mad Max movie, as presented in seemingly never-ending chases and stunts. The movie also retained the signature MI personality of professionalism and covert expertise. It also featured Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson, who surprisingly didn't act as demure as she looks in the movie.

Slashfilm.com featured a few of the neck-breaking chase scenes that will send fans holding on to their seats. Another scene brings Cruise's character Ethan Hunt hanging for dear life by the side of an airplane during flight, and the locations of the scenes were mostly filmed somewhere in the UK. Clips of the scenes can be seen here.

It took a few years to follow through on a new storyline for the MI franchise, however kudos to Tom Cruise for unfailinglly committed to remain consistent in delivering the action scenarios unto the big screen, just like his previous MI credits. Make sure to brace for the heart-stopping action and stunts that Tom Cruise delivers at best.
