"Doctor Strange" actor Benedict Cumberbatch recently opened up about his role and how it was like working with his co-star Rachel McAdams.
According to Venture Capital Post, Cumberbatch is currently preparing for his role as Sorcerer Supreme and in doing so, he has been required to bulk up to give justice to the character physically. In order to achieve his desired physique, the actor is reportedly on a diet that includes protein shakes. He also has a personal trainer and works out regularly.
Meanwhile, Cumberbatch was recently spotted in Tibet because the actor actually loves to meditate. In "Doctor Strange," the actor's character will also head to Tibet and while there will meet the Ancient One.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Cumberbatch explained why he is a big fan of meditation. "I meditate a lot. I took a lot of stuff away from my experience in Darjeeling, West Bengal, right at the Nepali border," he said.
In other news, Cumberbatch is open to working with anyone who will be included in the movie. Just recently, there were rumors that actress Rachel McAdams will work alongside Cumberbatch and she will play the role of Black Orchid. As of late, nothing has been confirmed yet.
However, if McAdams will be given the said role, the actress will also star in DC's "Suicide Squad" and "Justice League Dark." It is unclear whether or not McAdams will accept the offer if it will be given to her because she's also currently tied to multiple projects.
"Doctor Strange" serves as the 14th independent film that will be released under the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is included in Marvel Entertainment's third batch of movies.
