'Jane The Virgin' Season 2 Premiere & Spoilers: TV Show to Return Early; Wedding to Take Place?

The second season of The CW hit series "Jane The Virgin" is set to return a week early from the previously scheduled October 19 premiere date to October 12. Fans of the award-winning show will definitely find delight in this news. According to Spoiler TV, this shift will also mean an earlier premiere for another The CW show titled "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend."

Is Jane, the character played by Golden Globe-Winner Gina Rodriguez, finally choosing between her two love interests in the show? Executive Producer Jennie Urman confirmed this to TV Guide, and a wedding might be in the works for Jane as well, but it most likely won't be featured early on in the season, according to the report.

"By the fifth episode there's an unexpected marriage of two characters, and that's going to be the first [wedding]," she adds. "And of course our weddings [will have] big, fun, whimsical set pieces," Urman teased.

Viewers can now bet on who's Jane going to marry between the father of her child Rafael (portrayed by Justin Baldoni) and Ex-Fiancé Michael (portrayed by Brett Drier). This is exciting news for the followers of the smash-hit show!

Rodriguez is also thrilled for the next season as she expects to see a stronger Jane in the episodes to come. As told to Huffington Post: "...I want to see Jane's strength. And I think you're going to see Jane's strength. I'm hoping we're going to see the crazy amount of strength she has, to see Jane be a mother and not a passive aggressive one, but a very strong, forward mother. But we'll see! We'll see what happens!"

The first season of "Jane the Virgin" took viewers for a ride with Jane's ups and downs of getting pregnant, even before having sex. It ended with the main character giving birth to a darling baby boy named Mateo, leaving viewers wanting more.
