"The Bachelorette" recently concluded with Kaitlyn Bristowe happily marching off with Shawn Booth, but one contestant was left empty handed and without a partner - Nick Viall. While many people were rooting for Bristowe and Viall, it seems like not all hope is lost for the second placer, as Viall is considering the possibility of starring in "The Bachelor" 2016. Will he be revealed as the next bachelor during the 'BIP 2' premiere?
The next leading man to "The Bachelor" remains a mystery following the conclusion of ABC reality series' counterpart, "The Bachelorette." While Ben Higgins was initially thought to be the next bachelor for the upcoming season in 2016, rumor has it that Nick Viall, one of Kaitlyn Bristowe's ex, will be starring as the male lead next season.
Viall, who walked away empty handed in the recently concluded Final Rose Ceremony of "The Bachelorette" 2015, told Us Weekly that he is considering the possibility of becoming the next "Bachelor."
"I spend the past three months just really focusing on moving forward. It took a lot out of me, and all of my energy has been focused on [healing]. After last night, I think anyone would feel really lucky to be considered," Viall said.
Viall, however, admitted that he is aware that if he will be chosen as the next "Bachelor," he will have to go through yet another emotional journey, saying that "it's a difficult process" that "doesn't always work out."
While ABC has yet to announce the next face to brave the upcoming season of "The Bachelor," Mike Fleiss hinted that clues will be released during the premiere of "Bachelor in Paradise," Inquisitr reported.
"If you wanna know who the next Bachelor is gonna be, there's a clue in Sunday night's season premiere of Bachelor in Paradise..."
