Gone are the days of Chris Brown and Rihanna as a couple, but recently, Breezy made headlines when he claimed that he still loves his former girlfriend.
Brown, 26, also sparked rumors when he sang Riri's latest hit, "B***h Better Have My Money" in his recent performance. The "Ayo" singer shouted to his fans that Rihanna is "my b***h for life," according to OK!
In an interview with Tim Westwood, Breezy admitted that he and Rihanna would always be cool. The R&B singer also gushed about his love and respect for her, International Business Times reports.
"She's my homie though. We knew each other since we were 14, 15 so with that kind of history, we are always going to be cool. I don't get jealous. I don't get mad. I got nothing but love and respect for her."
"I respect her as an artist," Brown added. "Obviously people are going to make a spectacle, like 'Oh, he's playing her music!' But who doesn't? I'm pretty sure she plays my music."
Back in December 2014, Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, who apparently believed that Brown and his daughter can get back together, seemed to have changed his mind. While he claimed to Daily Mail that he had forgiven the "Loyal" singer for beating up his daughter in 2009 and feels sorry for him every time he hears bad news about him, Fenty reportedly said that Brown is a player and he's not ready yet for a real relationship. Fenty also added that Brown is a party guy.
Meanwhile, a Hollywood Life source told the magazine that although Brown still loves Rihanna, the 26-year-old crooner has no plan of getting back together with the "American Oxygen" singer. Brown apparently knows who he is. He loves women and he doesn't want to hurt Rihanna and not give her what she always wanted: "love and a monogamous commitment."
