'Left 4 Dead 3' Announced; Valve To Focus on Multiplayer Games [Rumors]

Exciting new developments have finally arrived for "Left 4 Dead 3." Many have looked forward to updates from the hit game for quite some time, but with Valve Corporation's focus on multiplayer games, the third installment of the best-selling franchise's future has apparently become more certain.

According to a report by Master Herald, this focus is what's keeping fans and gamers optimistic about "Left 4 Dead 3" coming out. "This particular thrust of Valve is what makes gamers and critics optimistic that the company will definitely release its multiplayer zombie shooter game 'Left 4 Dead 3,' more than its first-person shooter video game 'Half-Life 3,' the report says.

Questions and doubts have been raised with the development of "Left 4 Dead 3" early on as the partnership of Valve Corporation and Turtle Rock Studios fell out, and Valve just became eerily silent about it. Although it has been announced Valve will be developing the game without Turtle Rock, it has also been reported by Vine Report in June that plans for the game have been axed.

Valve Corporation's usage of the free Source 2 engine might serve as a big factor to the development of the game too. "Left 4 Dead 3" was part of the title list for the said game engine. The said engine entails faster and more detailed graphics.

The first "Left 4 Dead" was released in 2008, and "Left 4 Dead 2" followed a year after. Speculations on the third installment have been going around since early 2011, and fans remain hopeful that "Left 4 Dead 3" will finally face the dawn of day.
