After a 34-second clean win over Bethe Correia and the fight momentum still on a high, Ronda Rousey is already talking about the fighter she is taking down next! Hollywood Life has the deets.
Now considered as the best female fighter in the world, Ronda, 28, defeated Bethe, 32, at UFC 190 last August 1 which took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The highly-anticipated fight turned out to be an epic one after Rousey shown great combinations which left Correia face-planked on the floor in an intense 34-second play. Looks like the American mixed martial artist was on a roll that even before UFC 190 kicked off, the superstar already had her eyes on her next opponent.
"I'm going to beat up Bethe, then I'm going to take a couple of weeks to rest, and then I'm going to go beat up Miesha [Tate]," she told Fox Sports. "And then I'm going to go to Thailand or wherever we decide to film and prep for a month, and then start filming for like eight to 10 weeks, and then go beat up the next chick." That sounds like a solid plan.
Ronda and Miesha are known to be very passionate MMA fighters. Miesha, who defeated Jessica Eye, is not discreet about her hunger for further victory. The fight, if it takes place, would not be the two's first time to meet in the ring; in fact, Ronda slain Miesha in a fight where the latter almost had her arm twisted off. There are people saying she is Ronda's toughest opponent after Miesha was able to take her down before. But she shouldn't be too confident as Ronda is surely still in momentum after her impressive win over Correia.
The UFC 190 fight secured Ronda's 12th win and maintains her undefeated status. A lot of fans, and even celebrities like Will Smith, went wild and were very pleased with how the battle turned out.
When off the ring, Ronda spends most of her time filming and she is currently working on "Mile 22", an action movie starring Mark Whalberg and is expected to be released in 2016. Her recent acting engagements included "Entourage", "Furious Seven", and "The Expendables 3".
