'Suicide Squad' Movie Spoilers & Cast News: Margot Robbie Treasures Jared Leto's Gift; Duo To Look Creepy In Film

"Suicide Squad" star Margot Robbie recently talked about the rat gift she received from her co-star Jared Leto. In an interview with Elle Magazine, Robbie said that she treasures Leto's gift which she fondly calls "Rat Rat."

According to the publication, "Rat Rat" was given to Robbie by Leto's "Suicide Squad" character Joker. After receiving the odd gift, the crew members on the set asked her to get rid of it but the actress decided to keep the little creature.

Robbie explained why she decided to keep "Rat Rat" and said that if her "Suicide Squad" character Harley received a gift from Joker himself, she would probably keep it as well. At present, "Rat Rat" is safe and sound at her home and is being fed organic berries.

Meanwhile, Robbie previously talked about the official trailer of "Suicide Squad" that was first shown at the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con 2015. Talking about her character, Robbie told Reveal, "In this trailer, she's in full on crazy mode; we see her swinging from the bars of her isolated cell, licking the bars, firing guns and generally looking pretty psychotic. Very different from the glamorous, stylish Margot we saw on 'The Wolf of Wall Street.'"

In other news, fans of the film are pitting it against the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." According to What Culture, there are a number of reasons why the former could be much bigger than the latter.

First, "Suicide Squad" will have a Joker, and the role has been given to Leto, who is well-known for giving justice to absurd characters. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, but the actor is not well-known for playing villainous roles. Also, "Suicide Squad" offers not only riskier stunts but also riskier storylines.

"Suicide Squad" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Aug. 5, 2016.
