Although she dominated the pop charts in the 60s,and was an 80s TV star - Cilla Black decided to forego the stereotypes of exuding sexiness. She constantly reminded people in the broadcasting and recording industry that going "au naturel" was better. Any remark to her lack or dismissal of cruel objectivity was easily dismissed because of her innate approachable demeanor and likeability. Even though Ms. Black was an epitome of stability over the years, she also experienced the downside of losing someone she dearly loved and eventually took a hard toll on her showbiz life.
