Famed couple Amal and George Clooney spent an enjoyable road trip together, as they toured the Italian countryside last week.
According to People, George and Amal explored Tuscany and spent some time touring the little towns of Chianti, Poggio and Cortona. The Clooney's also chose an old-school Italian vintage Vespa moped and a 1960s FIAT 500 for their Italian road trip. Monday afternoon saw the pair at the Montebernardi wine estate in Panzano in Chianti. The village is located in Tuscany's most famous winemaking region. After the Montebernardi visit, the two dined at the Cantinetta di Rignana tavern in the town of Greve in Chianti.
The People article further recounted the couple's summer road trip, which continued with a Vespa tour on Tuesday. The two reportedly grabbed lunch at the e Locanda di Pietracupa restaurant in San Donato in Poggio. A waiter at the restaurant even told the publication that seeing the two of them eating together was like a "scene out of a romantic movie." The waiter added, "Both incredibly good-looking. She was elegant in all her movements. They kept holding hands and leaning in for a kiss." Meaniwhile, Thursday evening had the Clooney's enjoying a romantic dinner, states People, eating alfresco at the Il Falconiere restaurant in the Luxury Realais Il Falconiere & Spa resort.
This is not the first time that the Clooney's were spotted enjoying the summer season. Amal and George were seen vacationing in Lake Como prior their Italian road trip, reports Vogue. The two reportedly tried to keep a low profile, but still managed to stand out in the crowd given their striking and well-coordinated summer looks. George was handsome in his summer ensemble, but it was his wife Amal who stole the show, who wore a fit and flare Miu Miu frock, with Prada wedge sandals and oversized hoop earrings.
The two reportedly owns an estate in Lake Como where the couple was also spotted enjoying a motorcycle ride.
