Last night's episode of the hit MTV Show "Teen Wolf" featured an unexpected yet super intense duel between Kira/the Kitsune (Arden Cho) and her mother. It ended with Kira almost cutting her mom in half, just in time for her dad to stop her from doing anything major.
After the near fatality, Kira is now left to recollect as she confides to her boyfriend Scott (Tyler Posey) and figure out what's going on inside her before she tries to help anybody else.
Meanwhile, for episode 8, EnStarz came up with an analysis of the title. "Ouroboros" refers to a Greek symbol that depicts a "serpent or dragon eating its own tail." This reportedly points out that a rebirth might be in the works in the next episode, and the site speculates it might be a reference for Deputy Parrish, adding fuel to theories that he is a fire bird. Also, a lot of the characters this season reportedly seem to inflict damage on themselves quite often.
MTV has also released an official synposis for episode 8, which reads: "Scott and Malia are going to set out to rescue their captured friends, and Deaton will make a horrific discovery about the Dread Doctors."
Based on the synopsis, fans can reportedly expect that Scott and Malia will rescue Liam and Hayden after being captured by the Dread Doctors. Episode 8 of the Season 5 of "Teen Wolf" will be aired on August 10, 10 p.m. EST.
