The Real Madrid football player Cristiano Ronaldo was the best man of the super-agent Jorge Mendes who wed last Sunday in Portugal and as a present, Ronaldo gave him a Greek Island according to the article of Mirror.
The amount of the said Greek island is still unknown as there are no reports yet of its price but according to Private Islands Online, a Greek Island approximately costs from $3.4 million to $54 million.
Maybe this may not be an issue for Ronaldo as he is regarded as one of the richest men in Portugal and that according to Forbes, Ronaldo reportedly is the third highest paid athlete and by which amounts to over $80 million. The first two were Floyd Mayweather and running second was Manny Pacquiao.
The said wedding of Jorge Mendes and his partner Sandra Barbosa was held in Sao Joao Baptista church in Porto and the event was attended by 400 guests. Some of the guests according to DailyMail were Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez, Benfica President Luis Filipe Vieira, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, Jose Bosingwa, Fabio Coentrao, Pepe Deco, and Alex Ferguson.
Ronaldo is a Portuguese professional football player and also serves as team captain for Real Madrid. Aside from Real Madrid, he also played for teams like Sporting CP and Manchester United. He had won awards for Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year. Aside from being a football player, Ronaldo has a fashion boutique named CR7 that offers belts, jeans that has leather pockets, loafers, shoes, shirts, and slinky outfits for women. Last June 2015, they just released a fragrance of Ronaldo.
