Google is about to release two new Nexus devices, the Nexus 5 (2015) otherwise known as the "LG Bullhead," and the Nexus 6 successor also known as the "Huawei Angler." While nothing has yet been confirmed, reports have continuously teased the public on a possible October release.
Nexus 5 (2015) will come with wireless charging, LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and--most importantly--will be launched to have a USB Type C main port. Although a few other elements are to remain in the lines of the LG Nexus 5, the larger variant will be the "Huawei Angler." That larger version will max out the spec sheets, but will be more expensive.
Among the many features that are being boasted to come with the Google Nexus 5 (2015) include a 5.2-inch, 1440 x 2560 pixels screen, a Qualcomm 800 processor Snapdragon, and an Android M operating system. Other rumored features are a 3GB RAM, a 2MP front snapper, a 13MP main camera, and a fingerprint scheme.
A review from Geek Snack has also revealed that the Google Nexus 5 (2015) will be cheaper than the Nexus 6 successor. According to them, the device will be priced under $500.
The Nexus 5 (2015) will also bring forth a 5-inch QHD display, but will remain to be an affordable smartphone. Though this information has not been officially confirmed, reports have revealed that Google is going to present the new phone to those who were awed by phones like the Huawei Mate Ascend 7 and OnePlus One, which are flagship killers with affordable prices.
Gadget designer Jermaine Smit has proposed that Nexus 5 (2015) will bear an internal memory of 32GB, at the lowest, but that is if Google's tradition of expandable memory remains. While Nexus 5 (2015) is expected to feature several upgrades over Nexus 5 (2013), the issue of having low internal memory in both Nexus 5 (2013) and Nexus 6 are unsure to be addressed, Android Police reported. Nexus 5 (2013) had an internal memory of 16/32 GB, while the Nexus 6 model featured 32/64 GB.
