The Burning Man festival has been around for years, which started during a summer solstice in 1986 when Larry Harvey, Jerry James, and a few friends decided to gather around a 9-foot wooden man with a small dog on Baker Beach in San Francisco. They then came up with the idea to do it annually in which they describe it as a spontaneous act of radical self-expression.
Over the years, the Burning Man Festival is noted as the gathering dedicated for art, music, self-expression, and independence which is held annually since it was started on 1986 as per CNN Style.
The festival is ideal for wanderers and lost souls longing to be found and storytellers in search of their adventures. Though it is located in the vast desert for Nevada, the camp is fully equipped with emergency and medical facilities.
As per Voices of Burning Man, Burning Man's project manager Nathan Parker who has worked as an electrician for the Black Rock City Department of Public Works for several years stated:
"We're raising the bar for craftsmanship, detail and interactivity, most of the art that people create to be burned has a temporary feel, We want this to feel real and permanent. We want people to say, 'Why are you going to burn that? Don't burn that!'"
He then added that Burning Man is an outlet for young and creative minds around the world that are ready for a new height of adventures. It was just announced that a new project is currently out and has contracts and projects least for next year, spanning Asia, Africa, and Europe. Nathan then explained the project stating:
"the people with the temperament, the skill and the ability to hop on a plane and go somewhere to make big amazing interactive art, are also the people who can hop on a plane and go somewhere that's just been hit by massive disaster and make a difference."
