Fans of "Suicide Squad" are already anticipating the upcoming release of Jared Leto's movie. Ahead of its premiere, here are some lesser known facts about the cast and crew of the movie.

According to E! News, one of the things that makes "Suicide Squad" interesting is the fact that its star-studded cast members hit it off on day one. Immediately after they saw each other on the set of the film, the cast members already felt comfortable with one another.

To prove that they have indeed become close, the entire cast of "Suicide Squad" was recently spotted attending a music festival. While there, the cast danced and shared clips of their experience via their respective social media accounts.

Other than attending music festivals and dancing, the male cast members of "Suicide Squad" enjoy another pastime which is golfing. Cast member Jai Courtney shared a photo of himself with his male co-stars via his Instagram account.

"Bringing it down the back 9 @joelkinnaman @jayhernandez001 @vonnegut_punch #suicidalinthesun," he captioned the photo.

Meanwhile, the cast of "Suicide Squad" has become famous for taking group selfies, similar with the one Ellen DeGeneres took during an awards night. To add to this, when they have a downtime on set, the male cast members come up with boyband names and then pose as if they belong to the said group.

The cast of "Suicide Squad" also love to drink wine and alcohol and they do so for their ultimate bonding moments.

In other news, Margot Robbie recently opened up about the weird gift she received from her co-star Leto. During an interview with Elle Magazine, Robbie revealed that Leto as Joker gifted her character Harley with a rat that she now fondly calls "Rat Rat."

"Suicide Squad" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Aug. 5, 2016.
