Chicago Bulls' Joakim Noah has found a buyer for his Lincoln Park mansion. The asking price? A cool $3.15 million, reports Chicago Curbed.
According to a report by the Chicago Curbed, the 7,500-square-foot mansion is under contract, making the home's status contingent. Before listing it in the market for 21 days, Noah has only owned the home for about a year.
The grand staircase entry of the house leads to an expansive living and dining area with extra-tall, coffered ceilings and custom finishes. A gorgeous curved staircase stands as the highlight of the home.
The state-of-the-art chef's kitchen is in white and features a cool cabinetry, double ovens and a refrigerator. Totally open to the kitchen is a wonderful great room, overlooking the lush backyard. The kitchen and great room together makes one giant space for entertainment.
The lavish master suite features a marble bath with a steam shower and a soaking tub. Two good-sized ensuite bedrooms can also be found in the house, as well as a wet bar. The top floor offers a fabulous roof deck.
The completely finished lower level features a generous family room. A backyard turf allows for year-round greenery, and the roof top deck over the two-car attached garage offers perfect space for entertaining.
According to Chicago Tribune, the house was built in the year 2009. Noah, 30, bought the house in July last year for $2.85 million.
Emily Sachs Wong, the listing agent of the house, said that Noah's Lincoln Park mansion was not practical for him any longer because the Bulls was reportedly moving their practice to the 60,000-square-foot Advocate Center facility at 15 S. Wood Street, next door to the United Center on the Near West Side. Since the new venue was far from Noah's place in Lincoln Park, Wong then recommended for Noah to find a pad that's closer to the Bulls' operations.
