Sony has once again tapped the world of innovation with the announcement of its newest flagship device, Xperia M5 along with Xperia C5 Ultra. Dubbed as the successor of Xperia M4 Aqua, and belonging to "super mid-range" android phones, Xperia M5 has waterproof and dust tight attributes, signs that it is built for high quality performance. Users will never have to worry about getting caught up in the rain while chatting, nor be extra careful with another highly-sensitive phone.
Xperia M5 features a 5-inch full HD display in 1920x1080 pixels, a 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-core processor, a 16GB internal storage, and 3GB RAM.
Sony phones have always been particular with the quality of their camera. According to the official website of Sony Mobile, "Sometimes you only get one chance to get the shot right." With the Xperia M5's Hybrid Autofocus, 21.5MP, and sharp zoom, the device will prove to be a perfect tool for capturing moments as they happen. This is also great for taking selfies with its 13MP front-camera and filter options.
Other notable features of the Xperia M5's camera include a high quality image zoom which allows you to zoom in without losing quality, an autoscene recognition with 52 different scenarios, and clear videos in 4K replicating the same quality performance of a real digital camera.
The Xperia M5 handset also boasts of a battery life that lasts up to two days, which will allow the user to watch up to eight hours of full HD video, 63 hours of music play, and 12 hours of talk time. This phone has been called the most perfect device for active individuals, shoving down Google Nexus devices' with their low battery life.
Sony Corporation is yet to announce when the Aqua Sony Xperia M5 will be available in the market, although they have confirmed that it will come in black, gold and white. The Mid-range Xperia M5 handset has been estimated to cost about $400, according to Android Central.
