Ronda Rousey might just become a full-pledge actress. Would you agree on that one?
After just winning UFC 190 versus Bethe Correia in astounding 34 seconds, the UFC bantamweight champion now stars in a movie which talks about her life and her journey towards becoming a great mixed martial artist and fighter. An autobiography film titled "My Fight/Your Fight."
According to Justin Kroll of Variety, Paramount Pictures already acquired the rights for the said autobiography and the appointed screenwriter and executive producer will be "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes'" Mark Bomback.
The UFC Champion mixed martial artist would also be producing the film with the help of "Godzilla Reboot" Mary Parent.
Parent said according to the article of Bleacher Report, "It's a real honor to be a part of bringing Ronda's incredible story to the big screen."
The film was based from her own book and according to The Variety, many movie studios already wanted to buy the rights of the said book but what UFC Champion fighter Rousey wanted was to have the star lead of the film as part of the deal.
Starring in Hollywood is not really a new thing for the 28-year-old UFC Champion as she has already been casted for roles in some movies like "Expendables 3," "Furious 7," and in "Entourage." She has also been seen in some pages of celebrated magazines like ESPN "The Magazine Issue" of 2012 and the cover of September 2013 issue of Maxim.
What else could Ronda Rousey do?
Rousey is a multi-disciplined fighter in judo and boxing, she is also known for her grappling, striking skills with a celebrated judoka fighting style. She is also known as "Rowdy" and "The Arm Collector." Rousey now holds an MMA Record of 12-0 making her the first UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and the last Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion.
