Why are Children's In-Flight Meals More Delicious

Children's meals today have been making a shift from chocolate and chips to veggies and lean protein, as most nutritionists would highly recommend that children's meal consumption should be balanced. Along with these changes, children's in-flight meals have shifted as well as most airlines are trying to consider the healthier option in terms of serving their youngest passengers the meal they deserve, giving them both a healthy and tasty meal best suited to please their taste buds.

As per CNN group account director of Buzz, Alison Davies made a statement regarding the children's in flight meals stating:

'Some airlines are quite conscious about what they put in the meals and try to avoid too many sugary snacks, but some need a good lesson in healthy eating. The entertainment of children is of key importance to all passengers on every flight, we have developed innovative and inspiring inflight products to provide maximum support to parents along their journey.'

As reported by The Daily Mail, Lufthansa airlines, one of the airlines that chose the healthier option in terms of providing kids meal, decided to focus on the colours that are appealing to the youngsters as they are focused on preparing visually appealing as their meals are prepared by no other than a renowned German Chef, Sybille Schoenberger.

"Their menu included gnocchetti pasta salad with shrimp or "the Butterfly Dream", white bread and cheese dumplings on mushroom ragout or "Flying Dumplings" and lastly wedges with tomato sauce or 'Potato Sunset'."

As the airlines always make sure that their chefs have the credibility to deliver scrumptious meals, the Director of Corporate Communications for Lufthansa in Europe then stated:

"Each of our star chefs must have previous experience with cooking for kids, After the menus have been designed by the star chef, a jury of children from different countries decides which children's menus will be served on board Lufthansa flights."
