Apple iPhone 6s Leak: New Reports Hint September Release Date & Features

Tech giant Apple is gearing up to release its new iPhone product line which is said to be the iPhone 6s alongside iPhone 6s Plus. The rumored iPhone 6s which has been the subject of various speculations in the previous months is slated to be released in September.

New leaked photos which were reportedly sourced from an undisclosed factory reveal that the iPhone 6s is expected to have a Force Touch Integration, a report from Know Your Mobile said on Tuesday.

In the said report, it noted that some manufacturers that are said to be Apple's partners have started receiving components and doubling the production work geared towards a September launch. The report has identified Foxconn and Pentagron Zhen Ding, Flexium and Largan as Apple suppliers.

These manufacturers, as the report stressed, have aggressively expanded their production facilities to meet the bulk of orders from Apple. In fact, the report bared that an initial shipment of the Apple's upcoming device is expected to hit at least 50 million units, which will be released in the fourth quarter of 2015.

A Bloomberg report also confirmed that the company has started the production of the new iPhone models equipped with a Force Touch technology. The report speculated that Apple's upcoming iPhone model will measure 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, respectively.

The Force Touch feature will allow Apple users to tweak the strength of the phone's screen. Users will only need to tap the screen to bring up the different functions appropriate for pressure-sensitive displays. The Force Touch technology can also be found in the Apple Watch and latest MacBook models.

Meanwhile, PC Advisor reports that the rumored next iPhone model is expected to have a bigger screen and is 0.2mm thicker and 0.15mm taller than the present iPhone models in the market. The phone's color will reportedly be the same as those of Apple Watch.

The report added that the upcoming phone will use the 7000 series aluminium which is harder than the standard aluminium. The phone is expected to have 16 GB storage capacity, a 16 GB Toshiba flash, and a front camera which will be able to record 1080p video at 60 frames per second rate.
