"Bachelorette" stars Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth have finally made it official on the Season 11 finale of the ABC reality show. Booth was the lucky man to be the dance instructor's final rose. Now that they are out in the public, the couple revealed their plans of a televised wedding during a press conference on Tuesday, July 28.
Bristowe, 30, hinted that they may consider airing their nuptials on TV. When it comes to the venue of their upcoming wedding, Bristowe may be considering her hometown, Vanouver, Canada. The "Bachelorette" star confirmed they are not in a rush to wed anytime soon, UsWeekly reports.
"I would get married [in Vancouver]," Canada native Bristowe said when asked if it's a possibility. Booth chimed in: "Either there or Vegas with Elvis, we're still trying to figure that out."
The same day, the couple appeared on "Good Morning America" and shared their excitement to be engaged and finally be able to come out in public. Booth, 29, said that they are first focusing on visiting each other's hometown to relax before finally making long-term plans, according to Daily Mail.
The former personal trainer revealed that she's not searching for a wedding dress yet. She revealed they are enjoying what they have right now.
A source close to the couple told Hollywood Life that Bristowe was so happy and she wants to get married on TV. She hopes to land celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss, the insider added.
On Monday, fans of the ABC reality show saw how Bristowe accepted Booth's proposal. She chose him over Nick Viall, the runner-up for "The Bachelorette" 2015. Twenty-three others were evicted in the show.
As the wedding plans of the Bristowe and Booth have been talked about, the "Bachelorette" winner claimed that he would love to introduce Bristowe to his mom within the next month. The 30-year-old said he wanted them to hang out and get to know each other.
