Gamescom 2015: Konami Hints New ‘Mother-Base’ Trailer For ‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’

On Monday, game developer Konami has announced that it will launch a new trailer for its video game, "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." The announcement was made during Europe's Gamescom 2015.

The video game's trailer will reportedly highlight what Konami branded as an "all-new footage" for the game's Mother Base component. Gamers will also be able to see the multiplayer Forward Operating Base resource-stealing gameplay of the video game, a report from Gamespot said.

"The specially created video will detail building options and unique customization elements. The video will also explain the game's multiplayer FOB (Forward Operating Base) feature, wherein users can establish additional bases around the globe to manage captured resources--and demonstrate for the first time--how users can infiltrate other players' FOB bases to steal resources as well," Konami explained as quoted by Gamespot.

The game developer claims that the new trailer will highlight Konami's next video game series "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's" "strategic heart."

According to iDigitalTimes, the previous live stream of the video game has actually hinted the restoration made to the Mother Base which, according to industry commentators, will likely add impact to the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" gameplay.

iDigitalTimes states that the game's series creator Hideo Kojima was the one who confirmed the new Gamescom gameplay demo for "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." With this, avid fans of the title can expect more game details and updates to follow.
