Many believe that comic book genius Stan Lee has confirmed "Big Hero 7," but not much has been said about the sequel. Only speculations have been making the rounds, but a common denominator among them is Tadashi being alive and possibly being a villain.
An interview by Toronto Sun is the only "evidence" that the sequel might already be in the works. Lee says, "After 'Ant-Man,' we're going to start playing around with 'Doctor Strange,' the 'Black Panther,' the 'Inhumans,' and then we have to come back for 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2,' 'Big Hero 6,' 'The Avengers,' 'Captain America'..."
The first installment, "Big Hero 6," started with main character Hiro's brother dying in a fire. It has been reported by MNR Daily that the "fire" might lead to Tadashi's eventual return as Sunfire.
They shed more light into the character: "Tadashi could make the comeback as villain 'Sun Fire' which will have the two brothers' battle with each other. In the comics, Sunfire was an original member of 'Big Hero 6.' He was a boy named Shiro Yoshida." Many have assumed that the well-loved character might not be dead after all.
John Negroni of Movie Pilot came up with a pretty compelling theory about how "Big Hero 7" will turn out. Stressing even more on the possibility of Tadashi being Sunfire, the power of the 7th member is said to be the ability to turn heat into plasma.
According to a report by Master Herald, the sequel to the hit Disney Animation movie might just be the beginning of the series. It has been said that the studio behind the beautifully made movie "has been looking into the idea of expanding this into an entire franchise with its own separate universe."
Fans are definitely excited for the possible plot for "Big Hero 7" and they'll be on the lookout for spoilers and other developments for the Disney sequel.
