Along with the premiere of the American comedy-drama movie "The Diary of a Teenage Girl," a tall gorgeous woman in sparkly, shimmering gold dress and volumized layered blonde hair walks alongside with actress Bel Powley and Director Marielle Heller.
You might ask yourself, who is this beautiful, tall blonde?
You won't believe it but it is the actor Alexander Skarsgård and he walked to the movie's red carpet premiere last Monday dressed in drag according to Variety.
Although this is not really new for the Swedish actor as he played the character "Geert," a transvestite in the 2006 movie "Kill You Darlings."
The actor plays Monroe, Wiig's boyfriend in the movie that had an affair with Bel Powley (Wiig's 15-year-old daughter) in which she writes the accounts on her diary.
According to the review made by Variety for Skargard's character Monroe in the movie, they said, "Skarsgard makes Monroe so easygoing and likable you sometimes forget that his passivity is actually a contemptible willingness to let his libido make decisions by default."
Skarsgård was the son of the Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård. He already played and was seen in movies such as "Zoolander," "The Giver," "The East" and "Disconnect." He is well-known playing a vampire role in the HBO series "True Blood" as Eric Northman.
Watch out for the Swedish actor playing "Tarzan" in the 2016 movie "Tarzan" and other movies such as "War on Everyone" and "Hidden."
The movie "Diary of a Teenage Girl" was based on the graphic novel by Phoebe Gloeckner which is "The Diary of a Teenage Girl: An Account in Words and Pictures" and was set in the 70s feel. The movie was directed by Marielle Heller. The other casts of the movie were Christopher Meloni, Quinn Nagle, Madeleine Waters, Abigail Wait, and Austin Lyon. It has a scheduled limited release by Sony Pictures Classics on August 7, 2015.
