'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' Celebrates Its 40th Anniversary with a Re-Release

Who said you can't be King Arthur if you don't have a horse? Just clapping two coconuts will do? And can you now answer this question, "What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?" or "How about entering a castle in a 'Trojan Bunny?'"

Scratching your head now, don't worry! The film that brought us all these ridiculous ideas and the endless funny antics will be back.

Monty Python's Flying Circus will be back and be seen again via the re-release of their 1975 film "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" which is now celebrating its 40th anniversary. Sony Pictures and Park Circus will be handling the re-release of the British comedy narrative movie in UK and Rainbow Releasing will be the one to release it in the US according to the Nerdist.

The story revolves around King Arthur with his squire Patsy and their search to find the Knights of the Round Table and their conquest for the Holy Grail.

Monty Python group composed of Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin. The cast is also known from their BBC TV program called "Monty Python's Flying Circus." The said film they starred on, "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" was the highest grossing British film shown in the US in 1975.

According to EW, the re-release will be shown in the UK on Oct. 14. It is a must-see because they will be showing a sing-a-long version of the film in 500 screens in the UK, also along with these you can see an intro from John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin and this is just a one-night only event! So guys mark those calendars.

For the US, there is no specific re-release date yet for the film but also according to EW, it might be shown in the fall, fans who might missed it can still see it on the comforts of their homes as Sony will also release it via Blu-Ray this fall.
