Actress singer Jennifer Lopez is all set to be on TV. She will be starring in a new primetime TV series named "Shades Of Blue". The versatile actress was seen filming the show in New York. She was spotted doing gunfire scenes together with a co-actor.
Her role in this series will be a mother and a detective. Knowing how versatile J.Lo is, we all know this character will be something to watch out for. We've seen her do drama, comedy, love story, and action. There is no way she cannot pull off the lead role in this new TV series.
During the filming of the scene, J.Lo's hair was pulled back with a sexy messy style. She was wearing a casual attire that portrayed a detective role pretty well.
Jennifer Lopez has been well known for her movie roles and music career. She is definitely one of the most successful personalities in Hollywood. But having been seen mostly on films and rarely on TV, J. Lo is definitely exciting all her fans this time. Though she's one of the most recent judges of American Idol, seeing her in a TV role is not exactly a usual scenario.
J. Lo will be playing Detective Harlee Santos, a single mother who joined the FBI's anti corruption task force. J. Lo was given the role last year. And just this year, other roles were also given to Ray Liotta, Drea de Matteo, Vincent Laresca, Warren Cole, Hampton Fluker,Sarah Jeffery, and Gino Anthony Pesi.
The series started filming for season 1 last 4th of June. Since everyone expects so much from the veteran actress, it's pretty sure that she'll do well. The question than remains however, is whether this new series can move past just one season. We do hope it does, as J. Lo is a very nice addition to the TV series family.
