Many have reportedly noticed the 17-year old Kylie Jenner's drastic transformation over time. Comparisons have been made between her and her older sister and global style icon, Kim Kardashian. It comes as no surprise then that Kim's husband Kanye West has also taken notice of the young Jenner looking like she's morphing into her older sister.
Hollywood Life reports that West told Jenner to stop copying Kim. The report says that West is a big supporter ofJenner's transformation in terms of her body and style, but he believes that she shouldn't follow her sister's path to the T.
West has apparently recommended that Jenner creates and finds her own identity. However, Jenner isn't exactly receptive of West's comments as "she's digging her looks and style and doesn't really care if she's stepping on Kim's toes a little," the report claims.
Previous reports indicate that Jenner is definitely following her sister's footsteps, from recreating her outfits and even her choices in men. Just like any other younger sibling's admiration of the older one, Jenner reportedly really does idolize Kardashian-West.
Some have even questioned if such is just harmless admiration or if Jenner sees her older sister as competition. Elle has come up with a compilation of the times the two "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" stars looked like twins.
Meanwhile, Jenner has been facing praise and flak from social media due to her skimpy outfits and her alleged plastic surgery. Her actions have mainly been criticized and magnified more because of her age. Jenner will turn 18 and legal on August 10, and she plans to celebrate it at Beachclub Montreal in Canada a week later than her actual birthday. She has announced such plans on her Instagram page.
