Netflix sure is keeping everyone nervous and uncomfortable as the second season of the sci-fi drama "Sense8" is still up in the air. While the show's creators remain certain that the show will be renewed for Season 2 on the online streaming site, Brian J. Smith recently spoke up, seemingly hinting on details about the future of the drama. Is the show cancelled?

"Sense8" Season 2 is still up in the air, as online streaming giant Netflix still has not released an official renewal order for the hit sci-fi drama. J. Michael Straczynski and the rest of the cast and crew of the series remain hopeful that the success of Season 1 is enough for Netflix to consider bringing in more episodes for fans and viewers, many fans started worrying after the network seemingly remained silent.

MoviePilot does not think so. The outlet listed several clues from Netflix's website that point out to the possibility of "Sense8" being renewed for Season 2. The outlet mentioned that Netflix still features the show on its homepage, including promotions and advertisements about the sci-fi drama on various social media pages.

Brian J. Smith Speaks Up About "Sense8"

J. Michael Straczynski previously revealed during the TCA Press Tour that he would be hearing from Netflix in two weeks' time; however, weeks have passed and fans were not able to hear anything from either Straczynski or Netflix.

However, Brian J. Smith, who plays Will Gorski in the series, seemingly hinted on the possibility that the show's renewal will be announced on the eight sensates' birthday, Netflix Life cited.

"I know 8 people who have a birthday coming up. #8/8 @sense8," Smith tweeted.

The outlet noted that Netflix could not have picked a better day to announce the renewal of "Sense8" Season 2 than with the sensates' birthday on Aug. 8.
