An Anti-Vaccination mother kidnapped her daughter more than a year ago, Megan Everett was then featured on CNN's "The Hunt with John Walsh" an investigation-documentary series which features fugitives on the run which debuted on CNN two years ago (July 13,2014).
"The Hunt" followed Everett's kidnap case after Everett's baby-daddy decided to pick up his daughter when he was informed that Megan no longer lived on her recent address last May 2014. Robert Baumann then called to CNN's "The Hunt with John Walsh" in the hopes of finding his daughter.
Megan Everett did leave a note for her boyfriend stating:
"Dear C, If I let them take her and vaccinate her and brainwash her, I wouldn't be doing what's right. I cannot let a judge tell me how my daughter should be raised. We will miss you, but I had to leave. I know she will be safer and happier with my family and I. Love, Meg and Lilly."
Daily Mail then reported that Everett's whereabouts was already found. She was later on held into custody after her landlord recognized her from the hunt and informed Baumann of his daughter's whereabouts somewhere in Palatka. Sunrise police already confirmed that the child have been placed into protective custody following Megan Everett's arrest.
Now that he's reunited with his daughter, Robert Baumann, 27, then told Sun Sentinel: "It's so great, I'm so relieved. It just kind of stunned me; I felt like I was running around with my head chopped off."
As per CNN, Baumann took Everett to court prior to the alleged kidnapping in lieu of their daughter's custody in which they were granted 50/50 joint custody in raising their daughter. But only 6 weeks after the court custody was implemented, Everett took her daughter because she does not want her to be brainwashed or vaccinated.
