The penthouse' décor focuses on shiny surfaces and neon style. Other elegant features of the home are the wood-paneled library, and the limestone inset. The house is a colossal one, comprising of eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The 9,500-square-foot apartment on the 50th and 51st floors of the tower, comes complete with elegant amenities. It was originally designed as a duplex unit, but was revamped.

According to wsj.com, "Two units were combined to create the current apartment." This penthouse always offers everything in pairs, such as two staircases, two internal elevators, and two wood-burning fireplaces. The penthouse offers stellar Manhattan views such as the One World Trade Center, the Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building as stated in a report by wsj.com.

When asked why the penthouse is listed, the sisters stated that, "Now we've grown up, our needs have changed and we spend most of our time in Europe." Alessandra and Allegra are the great-granddaughters of Gucci founder Guccio Gucci and their father is the late Maurizio Gucci. This apartment was bought in the late 1970s. According to the listing agent, Ms. Rivoir, "The family put it on the market as a rental in 2010, asking $60,000 a month." The two sisters are heir to the Gucci legacy and will always be. According to a previus report by dailymail.co.uk, "Maurizio Gucci, the father of both Alessandra and Allegra was murdered and their very own mother plotted it all."
