"Orange is the New Black" star Samira Wiley, who plays the role of Poussey, recently said that she wants her character to find love in Season 4.
In an interview with Bustle, Wiley talked about one scene during last season's finale episode wherein she was featured holding the hands of Kimiko Glenn's Soso while in the water.
"Well, I hope there's a potential romance going on in between Poussey and someone. I'm not sure exactly who that person is or if that will be a thing, but I'm definitely in the corner of wanting her to find some love," she said.
Wiley specifically said that she will be on board if ever the producers of "Orange is the New Black" decide to team her up with Soso romantically.
"Oh, absolutely. I think coming off of where we ended season 3, they are both so lonely and they're both delving into some self-destructive behavior because of it," Wiley said.
Back in Season 3, Poussey discovered Soso unconscious after she overdosed on pills. With this, Soso could be indebted to Poussey, and fans are speculating that she could "repay" her with romance in the upcoming season, according to Enstarz.
Meanwhile, Wiley also weighed in on the influx of new inmates in Season 4. Just recently, it was confirmed that the producers of the show are looking for new cast members to join the Netflix series.
"It's becoming much, much more of a machine. So, I think we'll see how that affects that girls' spirits while they're inside," Wiley said in reference to the possible issues between the new inmates and the OG prisoners.
"Orange is the New Black" also stars Laura Prepon as Alex, Taylor Schilling as Piper, Ruby Rose as Stella, Natasha Lyonne as Nicky and more. The series will premiere on Netflix in June 2016.
