Selena Gomez's new music is coming up very soon! Her first summer single Good For You is still making its way to top the charts, but the 23-year-old sweetheart is already prepared for more follow-ups. She recently attended the iHeartMedia Music Summit and she played her next single "Same Old Love" to the media executives. This song will be for her upcoming album called Revival.
As of now the release of the song hasn't been announced yet. It hasn't been too long ago since the Good For You song has first been heard, but it is also possible that the new song will be released by the month's end. The album Revival however, was reported to hit the stores by October 9.
Thinking about how much Selena has changed as a singer in her summer single, we can assume that she is moving towards maturity as far as being a singer is concerned. Based on Good For You, Selena has definitely moved past her Disney persona. Her vocal coach Stevie Mackey says, "Selena's voice sounds amazing and her new album will be much different that the Disney sound she's done in the past. This album will be more adult, more feminine and more about Selena's experiences. She's recorded a lot of new songs at this point and she sounds beautiful."
The question that most fans ask however, is, "Is 'Same Old Love' a song about Justin Bieber?"
Selena and Justin Broke up in 2012. But the ex-couple has been spotted together more than once, and sometimes even showing off some PDA's. Seeing how they can't fully let go of each other and how they always end up together, it's not an impossibility that Same Old Love means Justin Bieber. Not like it's a big deal, it would just make a cute story if Bieber actually inspired Selena on this song.
