Marvel will reportedly kill off one major character in the upcoming movie "Captain America: Civil War."
According to Latin Post, Marvel Studios previously made a bold move when they decided to kill off Nick Fury in the film "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." However, he was later on seen alive because it was quite difficult for Marvel to kill off the character that created the Avengers in the first place.
With the upcoming movie "Captain America: Civil War," the publication notes that there's a chance that Scarlet Witch would be killed off this time around because her brother was killed off in "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
Some fans are also speculating on the fate of Hawkeye in the upcoming movie. Some are suggesting that the character may also be killed off because his death could shake things up for the franchise. Not only is Hawkeye still close with his family, his death could also impact the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe because he is found at the core of the Avengers.
Although it is quite impossible for Marvel to kill one of the three major characters in the film, there are reports that Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo's contracts will expire after "Captain America: Civil War." However, it is highly likely that Disney and Marvel will renew their contracts because the franchise won't survive without them.
Meanwhile, Comic Book recently reported that T'Chaka will be killed off before the end of the film. T'Chaka is known as the ruler of Wakanda and the father of Black Panther. If this report were to be true, T'Chaka will no longer be part of Black Panther's standalone film that is pegged for release sometime in 2019.
"Captain America: Civil War" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016.
