Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Rumors: Core i7, 16GB RAM, Fanless Design to Slam Apple's iPads in October?

Microsoft is challenging Apple with the upcoming release of Microsoft Surface Pro 4. The upcoming device is said to have a 2K screen and 1440x2160 pixels in a 12-inch design.

With the recent launch of the Windows 10 operating system, Surface Pro 4 is expected to run with the release. Reports have also revealed that Surface Pro devices will beat existing computers and tablet models because the Surface is a tablet and computer in one device. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and 2 competed heavily with Apple's MacBook Air and iPad products.

With the Surface Pro 2, people were quick to conclude that it slammed Apple's iPad and Macbook Air. When Surface Pro 3 arrived, tech fanatics also said that Macbook Air was far behind it.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will feature an ultra-slim look and screen size that's similar with its predecessor. However, Intel's Skylake processor will be integrated into it.

The Surface Pro 4 will also have a Core i7 processor and will have a RAM capacity of 16GB, Venture Capital revealed. Other reports include a Microsoft fanless tablet, which implies that the Pro 4 will bear holes on the casing for better heat management, and making it quieter and thinner than the Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 3.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 models will be available in the market for the same price as its previous models. By far, this is where the Surface Pro 4 is better than Apple's MacBooks and iPads.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet and laptop hybrid is scheduled to be launched in October, although it is still unclear if it will take the worldwide market immediately or it will initially be available in a few regions only. IT Pro UK also reported that there might even be a chance that the Surface Pro 4 will also be released at the same time that Apple will release its latest, such as the anticipated iPad Pro.
