"The Blacklist" is back with a new season and some changes won't make it easy for Liz (Megan Boone) and Red (James Spader) as they would be facing a terrifying new enemy when the series would return for season 3.
As per Christian Today, a new character will be introduced. Edi Gathegi would take on the role of Mr. Solomon who will be chasing after Liz and Red for his personal mission as he would be the one to handle Cabal's dirty work.
Mr. Solomon was personally introduced by the executive producer himself, John Eisendrath, when he unveiled Mr. Soloman's agenda in the series, as he would be the one in-charge in chasing after Liz and Red; both were unaware of his existence which would put them in jeopardy resulting to Red's downfall compromising their safety as someone dear to him will be used as bait, leaving with him no choice but to follow Solomon's orders.
Eisendrath then stated: "There's a character named Mr. Solomon who is going to be entering the landscape and is not friendly in any way to Liz or Red or the people they care about."
Jon Bokenkamp, the creator, did inform the audience that Liz would not be "completely helpless" against the new character as glimpses of her past will help her survive on season 3 stating: "We are going to see glimpses of a criminal past that we've hinted at before. We're going to see whispers of her past and how that sort of thinking may be useful in some of these desperate situations."

"The Blacklist" Season 3 Episode 1 spoilers will feature Elizabeth Keen "Lizzie" on the run as she is being searched due to the death of the attorney general. "The Blacklist" Season 3 is set to return on September 24, on NBC.
