Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' split apparently has gotten worse. The former One Direction star reportedly asked his ex fiancée to move out and get all her stuff out of his home.
The North London house that they shared was purchased by the newly single singer months after they started dating in 2012. The "Geordie" singer, 22, was at Las Vegas when the news of Malik wanting her to move out broke. Since Edwards was spending time with her bandmates to promote their new single "Black Magic," her parents were obliged to do the task of getting her things from their former love nest, Mirror reports.
"They no longer speak. Zayn's adamant Perrie has to move her stuff out. She moved in with him when they got together so he thinks she should go," a source told the publication.
At the height of their breakup, Edwards, who has been devastated with her split with ex-fiancee, reportedly threw shade on Malik during her group's Radio Disney interview. When a fan asked the group about their favorite song, the "Black Magic" songstress claimed that it's One Direction's new song, "Drag Me Down."
Her answer instantly drew speculations that she's dissing her ex-flame, who left the group several months ago. "Drag Me Down" was One Direction's first single without Malik, Hollywood Life reports.
On August 18, Edwards and her Little Mix bandmates will be seen on James Corden's "Late Late Show" as part of their U.S. tour. It will be her first televised interview following her split with Malik. A TV source revealed that her upcoming appearance in the show could be very feisty as it is expected that she will be talking about what led to the end of their engagement, OK! reports.
According to reports, the former One Direction heartthrob decided to end his relationship with the Little Mix singer through a text message some weeks ago.
After Malik and Edwards' split, the two are also apparently deciding on what to do with their £3 million Hertfordshire mansion that they bought in June.
