Chip Wade Net Worth: 'Elbow Room' Host Presents Home

HGTV's "Elbow Room" is one of the network's highest rating shows and Chip Wade, its host, has a lot to do with it. The program that features quick home makeovers is proving to be an ace up Chip's sleeve as he recently opened the doors of his home in Atlanta to HGTV Magazine as stated in a report by atlanta.curbed.com.

If there is any doubt that these shows make any money, Wade's 11,000 square foot home in Cumming should prove that the producers of the Chip Wade's "Elbow Room" are making a ton. And so does the host, who, together with his wife and three kids, showed the world their amazing crib. The exterior of the house is pretty low key and makes no attempt to stand out from any other typical suburban abode but the interiors are definitely a killer. The shoot was what anybody would expect from a celebrity home; a cheesy event that features staged shots of the family enjoying their time in various spaces inside their home. It's not to say they don't have fun in real life and who wouldn't have a blast being in the Ping-Pong room?

To say that Chip Wade didn't have anything to do with how his own home was designed would be a great travesty to his reputation not only as being the host of "Elbow Room" but also as a designer. The magazine pictorial is proof that he is as legit as any home improvement show host can be and that he knows what he's talking about on his program. In addition, his home can be a testament to how profitable these shows on HGTV are.

According to a previous report by atlantamagazine.com, "His likable demeanor and unflappable confidence helped take Wade's show to prime time this spring." It's safe to say that Wade's stock has risen over the years since the show was launched in 2012. Most of his income comes being a TV host, home designer and contractor. According to chipwade.com," Chip is the owner and lead designer of Wade Works LLC, a design, staging, inspection, and custom construction firm."
