Actress Claire Danes has listed her SoHo loft for sale for a cool $5.998 million.
Danes got her big break by starring in the mid-90s television show, “My So-Called Life”, with a role that earned her an Emmy nomination and won the Golden Globe award.
Shortly after moving into the SoHo loft, Danes had architect Joan Krevlin rework the loft space, and the results were photographed by Architectural Digest. Current listing photos show the space still has some of the more whimsical features that Danes added back in the day, including a rope swing and hammock in the living room, and a pivoting table in the kitchen that can be used for a dining space or an area to prep food.
The condo is in an 1882 building, marked by exterior columns and exposed wood beams and sits on a quieter, cobblestone street.
The space is 4,000-square-feet with has high ceilings, 16 windows, exposed brick and hardwood floors.
It has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths which also includes a wood-burning fireplace and direct elevator access.
The listing is held by Elaine Schweninger of Town Real Estate.
According to Zillow’s mortgage calculator, a monthly payment on the home would be $21,821, assuming a 20 percent down payment on a 30-year-mortgage.
