New iPhone, iPad & Apple TV 2015 Get a Definite Release Date: Apple to Unveil Devices on September 9 Fall Event [Rumors]

A new report has surfaced today saying that tech giant Apple will hold its next big press event on September 9. In the said September 9 Fall event, the company is expected to unveil a new iPhone, iPad and an Apple TV.

Rumor has it that at least two new smartphones will be announced, which are specifically upgrades to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Earlier rumors pointed out that a new four-inch screen iPhone will be revealed, though it is unlikely, a BuzzFeed report said.

According to BuzzFeed, the company has yet to announce the date of its yearly press Fall event. However, when Apple was asked to comment on the rumored September 9 media event, Apple spokesperson Trudy Muller has reportedly declined to comment on the issue, but BuzzFeed has cited sources who are privy to Apple's plan who said that the company will likely hold the media event on September 9. This is reportedly based on the same day and month that Apple held its annual press event in 2014.

Meanwhile, according to Macrumors, the company will officially debut its next-generation iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in the event. The report said that both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s models are expected to feature a Force Touch display, an A9 processor, an improved camera system, and a faster LTE chip, along with other features that aim to improve the device's performance.

Aside from the new iPhones, Apple will reportedly likely unveil a new iPad during the said press event. However, there is no indicator that the company will publicly unveil the rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro; it is said to remain as a "wildcard," which means the rumored iPad Pro will either be unveiled during the event or will come at a later date.

Furthermore, a new Apple TV is also expected to be announced on the said upcoming event alongside the new iPhones and iPad. Apple claims that the new Apple TV has new features and upgrades, which include a faster and upgraded A8 processor, a fully loaded App Store, a touch-based remote control, and Apple's personal assistant Siri that is integrated in the TV. One of the rumored amazing features of the Apple TV is the ability to play media content from iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or Mac via HDTV, according to Macrumors.
