'Bridget Jones Diary 3' Rumors, Cast, News: Will Ed Sheeran Be One Of The Casts?

Rumors about the filming for "Bridget Jones Diary 3" have recently surfaced. It was said that Renee Zellweger can be once again seen in the hit threequel as a neurotic Brit in search for love. The most interesting part of all these rumors is that Ed Sheeran will play as her love interest since Hugh Grant will no longer join the movie's part three. Although Grant's character, Daniel Cleaver wasn't the one Bridget settled down with in the last movie, he was still making appearances occasionally.

Details regarding the third part of the Bridget's story haven been mostly kept from the public. What has been known as of this time is that the movie will detach from the book which it will be based from.

However, according to a source, even though everyone's being secretive about the sequel, it was said that one pop star will show off his ginger appeal in the new movie. The new movie titles "Bridget Jones' Baby" was immediately associated with Ed Sheeran as the film's crew was allegedly seen at the singer's concert in Dublin just last month.

Another source says that Renee was nowhere near the location where the alleged scenes for the new movie were being filmed. What they found in the set was a stunt double of the Oscar winning celebrity. Although no official announcements came from the crew, maybe it's safe to say that the movie has already started with the filming.

Along with the main star Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth was also reported to reprise his role in "Bridget Jones Diary 3" even though Hugh will no longer be in the new movie. Another thing that was confirmed by a source is that, the new film will be based on the columns of Helen Fielding rather that the latest book called "Mad About The Boy." There are also reports that state the possibility that Sharon Maguire directs the film.

"Bridget Jones Diary" fans are not the only people excited for this film, broadcaster Gary Slaymaker also shared his anticipations for Maguire's possible latest project. He says, "If she directed the 2001 one, it makes sense to get someone who got it right to come back to direct this one."
