Game of Thrones Actor to Star in Quantum Break

Following its conference in Cologne last August 04, 2015, Remedy Entertainment, through its website, announced its newest heart-pounding action game, Quantum Break. Scheduled to be released for the Xbox One on the 5th of April next year, the gameplay comes with a live-action in-game show. This is indeed another quantum leap for Remedy Entertainment in its twenty years of journey in creating cinematic, story-driven games packed with non-stop action.

With the creation of Quantum Break, Microsoft's Gamescom has definitely transformed gaming into something totally new and unexpected. Quantum Break lets players interact with digital 'live-action show' episodes which offer clues on how to advance with the game. The gameplay also allows players to make decisions that will consequently determine the events of the show.

The Game of Thrones Irish actor, Aidan Gillen, takes the role of Paul Serene- Quantum Break's chief antagonist who has the power to look into the future and be able to decide which choices to make in the present time according to Gamespot.com.

Quantum Break is an action-adventure game where players would try to preclude the 'end of time' from happening. Taking place in North Eastern U.S. Riverport University, the gameplay brings players into a time travel experiment which has gone wrong and eventually led to the breakdown of time. Jack Joyce, one of the three main characters, survived a failed science experiment that took his brother's life. He must learn to harness his ability to "control time" just to stay alive in a very unstable environment and prevent the 'end of time' itself. Unfortunately however, the gameplay's main villain, Serene (Aidan Gillen), plots a catastrophe through a corporation he founded, Monarch Solutions. Serene pursues Joyce and Beth Wilder with an infinite number of armed enemies.

Quantum Break's other cast are Courtney Hope as Beth Wilder, Marshall Allman as Charlie Wincott and Amelia Rose Blaire as Amy Ferraro (both starred in True Blood), Mimi Michaels (The Ugly Truth) as Fiona Miller, Patrick Heusinger (Black Swan) as Liam Burke, Lance Reddick (Fringe) as Martin Hatch, Sean Durrie as Nick Marsters, Jacqueline Pinol as Sofia Amaral, Brooke Nevin as Emily Burke, and Jeannie Bolet as Kate Ogawa.
