'Grand Theft Auto' 'GTA V': Rockstar Games Developing New Story DLC or Reboot for 'Agent'

Rockstar Games' presence at the recently concluded Gamescom wasn't quite felt since the company has decided to go private instead, fueling much more speculation about its games, specifically "Grand Theft Auto" and "Agent." The company has decided to keep all their presentations behind closed doors during the said event.

Looks like the developers have something very exciting for all "Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V)" fans. Though the company has kept silent when it comes to such reports, the brainchild behind "GTA V" has hinted on a possible new DLC for "GTA V." It was also previously reported by Gamingbolt that Rockstar Games has mentioned that Trevor, Michael, and Franklin were "coming back for new content for the game."

Such news is definitely possible since "GTA V" had no DLCs since its two-year release, and Rockstar has been focusing on the online aspect of the game. The previous versions of the game all have DLC stories that were well-received by the audience, so it wouldn't be a surprise if "GTA V" comes up with its own version too. Reports say the previous DLCs were mainly for the hardcore gamers, and the possible DLC for this one will be a bit more beginner-friendly. Rockstar has now kept mum with regards to further updates on "GTA V."

Design & Trend has also discussed a "compounding" issue with the former. Rockstar Games recently re-acquired trademark rights for the previously released game "Agent." According to the same source, "the game was first announced at E3 2009 as a PS3 exclusive, and it features a Cold War espionage motif set in the late 1970s." It was also compared to "Assassin's Creed."

Many have believed that "Agent" was already dead or the game developers have no plans of rebooting it, but recent reports tell the contrary. Although nothing has been confirmed yet, the news still tickle the excitement of many fans.

"GTA V" is available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
