Tom Cruise doesn't just wow the audience in his staggering heart action stunts and ageless striking looks. See him again charm the audience in this seven-minute speech.
In a just recently released 11-minute video of a 2004 clip of the Church of Scientology and from The Underground Bunker, the "Mission Impossible" star Tom Cruise opened up a speech in Spanish for the opening of their church in Madrid.
The said clip was dated from Sept. 18, 2004. Cruise was introduced first by Maria Gutierrez, who is the president of the Madrid Chapter. The 53-year-old "Jerry Maguire" actor enthusiastically opened up the speech with greetings in Spanish and warned the audience to be patient with him as he attempts to speak in the language.
The "Top Gun" actor was delighted with the opportunity to speak on stage said to audience, "I am very happy to be with you today."
And he spoke about the important things he valued most in his life and how Scientology helped him attain peace and happiness, in his speech he said:
"I was raised by my mother. We didn't have much, but she gave me something I have held onto to this day: The importance of people. I care deeply about my family and my fellow man. In fact, I value that above all else I possess. And that is why the only despair I ever felt was when I could not help. I confronted the same problems as everyone else: Conflict, upsets, interpersonal relationships. All those things that prevent the most valuable commodity in life: Happiness. That is what made me look for answers. Twenty years ago, this despair was gone. It was the day I discovered Scientology. What I found were tools that work. Solutions that can be applied and that resolve, in fact, the problems of life. And above all, it helped me to find peace and happiness. And I will tell you what I got in life, as a man, as a father, as an artist - it is the result of being a Scientologist and having these tools. If I could give you the world, I would. But can you achieve happiness? That is why I am so happy to help give you this church, like the one I have had, so that you can reach your dreams. Thank you very much, Spain. Thank you very much."
Cruise has been a part of the Church of Scientology since 1990. He has been an active advocate ever since and has campaigned the religion in Europe. Some of the well-known celebrities that are part of Scientology were John Travolta, Jenna Elfman, and Kirstie Alley.
See Tom Cruise grace up the skies in the just release movie "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" which astoundingly earned $264 million on its opening date last July 31.
