BlackRock Inc., the world’s largest money manager announced on Tuesday the appointment of Sherry Rexroad as chief investment officer for its newly launched global real estate securities team, effective immediately.
According to a statement released by the company, Rexroad will report to Mark Johnson, global head of Blackrock's real estate securities group.
“My first priorities will be to attract a strong bench of talent and to deliver a compelling product offering to our clients,” Rexroad said in the statement.
Rexroad served as a senior portfolio manager of REITs-Americas for Aviva Investors Global Listed Real Estate Securities team before joining BlackRock.
She has also been a managing director and portfolio manager with ING Clarion Real Estate Securities.
