Steve-O, Jackass' Comedian, Arrested For Climbing a 100-Foot Crane With An Inflatable Whale, “Shamu”, in Protest of SeaWorld

For the second time since May of 2014, Stephen Glover or best known as Steve-O by most of his fans and social media followers was arrested for another anti-SeaWorld stunt on Sunday.

The 41 year old "Jackass" stunt comedian was arrested by Los Angeles police on suspicion of trespassing, setting a fireworks without proper permit and conspiracy to commit a crime, according to Los Angeles Times. And unlike hisprevious first public protest against SeaWorld, wherein he climbed onto a highway sign and altered it to read, "SeaWorld Sucks," this time around Steve went a notch higher.

In a chronicled documentation of his attempt to show his protest against SeaWorld's treatment of orca whales, as highlighted in the 2013 documentary," Blackfish," Steve climbed a construction crane 100 feet above Hollywood. And as if to put emphasis on his act, he inflated a Shamu doll with the words, "SeaWorld Sucks" on it.

The stunt went viral, for prior and during the stunt protest Steve was posting updates on social media and was even streaming live online. For sure the stunt gained attention and most especially from the 30 LAPD officers who were called into the scene. And these officers were backed up by 80 firefighters who prepared an air cushion just in case the comedian has another plan in mind.

And because of this another scene created by Steve, chances are he would be getting into more serious legal troubles compare to his previous stunt. His social media post would surely serve as an omen to what is to come legally, as he posted that;

"This is Shammy. We're going to do a big dangerous stunt in Los Angeles tomorrow that will probably get me in a lot of trouble, and you can watch it happen via a live stream, right here on Facebook, starting at exactly 7pm PST. See you then... #yeahdude"

And for the stunt which resulted to a $5000 bail last Monday and a court appearance on August 31, the police are just glad that it was over.
