"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has a newly released TV spot shown in Korea which featured the First Order troops. The troops are shown on a new snowy planet together with Captain Phasma, a pair of Snowtroopers and several First Order officers.
Several teasers and spoilers featuring the new young heroes of the "Force Awakens" were released months ago. Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron were constantly highlighted in several sneak peek videos for the movie. This time around, in the recently released peek featured in Starwars 7 News, the spotlight goes to the movie's antagonists.
In the video, the First Order's forces are standing in formation, and was being addressed by one of the highest-ranking commanders of the Galactic Empire. The officer is speculated to be General Hux, played by Domhall Gleeson, as reported on Screen Rant. The Galactic Empire boss is speaking to his minions of Stormtroopers in a foreign snowy planet, a brand new planet that has never been featured in earlier films of the series. Just like the desert world of Jakku, the setting of the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is exploring new and unknown lands in the Star Wars Universe.
The plot of the franchise will feature another cosmic adventure right after the events of the 1983 film "Return of the Jedi" The movie will highlight the war between the Rebel Alliance, known as the Resistance, against the remnants of the Galactic Empire First Order troops.
Several villains were also included in the clip. The chrome-armored Captain Phasma played by "Game of Thrones" Gwendoline Christie and Kylo Ren portrayed by Adam River were highlighted seen on the clip. The narrator - a mysterious entity known as the Supreme Leader Snoke is also believed to be teaming up with the villains of the Galactic Empire.
"Star Wars" under Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Pictures will return to the big screen this coming Winter Holiday season. Co-writer and director J.J. Abrams will lead the fans to another memorable and legendary 7th installment of the live action movie.
The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will open in US theaters on December 18, 2015 to be followed by several anthologies under the franchise including "Star Wars:Rogue One", "Star Wars"Episode 8" and the Han Solo Anthology film.
