"The Whispers" aired another episode on Monday night that featured Lena figuring out a way to protect her daughter Minx from Drill.
Ahead of Monday night's episode, a teaser was released by ABC and it showed Lena taking Minx to see her father Wes. At that time, Wes was confused as to what exactly was going on.
In Lena's mind, staying with Minx the entire time could lessen Drill's chances at speaking with her daughter. However, Wes was doubtful of Lena's plan and told her that if Drill wanted to reach Minx, he will surely find a way.
To make things more interesting, Lena decides to bring Minx along with her on a cruise. Since cruises do not have power lines, Lena was confident that Drill wouldn't have any means of contacting her daughter.
Meanwhile, Monday night's episode of "The Whispers" titled "Darkest Fears" opened with a young boy named Nicholas being bullied by his father at the playground, according to Entertainment Weekly.
While there, Nicholas father told him, "Can't you make some real friends?" Upon hearing this, Drill stopped the bullying incident but urged Nicholas to do as what he is told. The young boy agreed to find more food or energy for him to survive because he's been running after the Bennigans and the Lawrences for quite some time now.
Also on Monday night's episode, Claire, Wes, Sean and Lena tried to think of ways on how to stop Drill. However, they were extremely worried with the fact that in order to stop him, they need to possess a child.
At one point, Claire and Sean's son Henry complained of getting headaches and the young boy grew worried that Drill had something to do with it. Towards the end of the episode, the mystery surrounding Drill still wasn't solved, so fans need to wait another week to find out who the mystery character is and how he could be stopped.
"The Whispers" Season 1 airs Monday nights at 10 p.m. on ABC.
