The producer of "Twilight", Wyck Godfrey, just shared that actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are right about picking movies that aren't mainstream. "They've each been really smart about the way they've followed up their Twilight careers in that they've not jumped into big studio fare in general. They've chosen directors and movies based on the movie, not the size of the movie."
After their success in the big series of movies, "Twilight Saga", the two main actors jumped into smaller, off beat but great films ("On The Road" and "Clouds Of Sils Maria" for Kristen, "Water For Elephants" and "Cosmopolis" for Robert).
Both of the actors were never able to repeat their "Twilight" success with their new movies, so fans often wonder if they do have a plan to come together once again on screen, even just for their career's sakes.
Godfrey says that he keeps in touch with the two. He also gave a teaser saying that they might all come together for a project once again. He says, "We keep in touch with all of them in the way you keep in touch with actors who have busy lives and are half your age. Every half-year we catch up and try to find something else to work on together."
Kristen and Rob broke up in 2013 and they both seem to have moved on. Kristen has recently been reported to have found new love, with her personal assistant Alicia Cargile. Her mom, Jules Stewart even gave her blessing to the relationship, saying "What's not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She's happy. She's my daughter, I'm just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices. I've met Kristen's new girlfriend, I like her. What's not to accept? She's a lovely girl."
It seems that all's well that ends well. So we do hope that Rob and Kristen can be seen together on the big screen in the coming months or years!
