With Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" topping music charts everywhere, it's not surprising the twenty-five year old musician would not be averse to spending her fortune on luxurious things like cars, jewelry, house, and even a castle. A report coming from telegraph.co.uk said that the pop superstar is rumored to be closing in on a deal to purchase an eight bedroom castle in Scotland. The reason for the property splurge in a far away land is reportedly because Taylor wants to live closer to Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, who is her current beau.
The sprawling 39-acre property comes with a private 18-hole golf course, two tennis courts, and a swimming pool. The reported price of the Tower of Lethendy is £4.6 million which is a small price to pay for your very own castle if you have a net worth of over £128 million and counting. The "Shake It Off" star loved the location of the place which is only 90 minutes away from Edinburgh where the family of her boyfriend resides. This is according to a report from mirror.co.uk.
It was also reported in the mirror.co.uk that the castle dates back to 1570 which also included two gate lodges and two cottages for the staff. It's not the first time Tay-Tay bought a property just to be with a boyfriend. In 2012, She bought a $4.5M property in Massachusetts, just a few blocks from then boyfriend Connor Kennedy's family compound. The relationship lasted three months but Taylor went on to buy the house.
If the American singer decides to push through with the acquisition, and there is no indication otherwise, the castle will no doubt remind fans of her video of the chart topping hit "Love Story". Will Taylor finally find a home with a happily ever after ending? Only time will tell.
